When Amberley & Myles mentioned that they thought Spruce Woods Provincial Park would be cool for their engagement session, they followed immediately with “but then we realized how far away it is and we figured it’s out of the question”. To which I replied, “Let’s DO IT!!” Anyone who knows me, knows i’m willing to drive a bit to explore a new beautiful place, especially if I’ve got my camera and some beautiful people to photograph there. Not many better ways to spend a beautiful summer evening. Enjoy!
Starlit Point Fall Wedding
What a gorgeous day to end off my 2019 wedding season. Starlit Point is a new venue here in Manitoba and it did not disappoint. The getting ready suite, the yard, the tent, it was all just gorgeous and Mack and Amy planned a wedding to match. The whole day was so fun and relaxed. The sun came out, the guests were cozy and warm inside the tent and to top it all off, dinner was a waffle bar served by MJ’s Cafe. I mean who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner!? Enjoy!

Pinawa Dam Sunset Engagement Session
Dang these two are cute. We lucked out with an incredibly beautiful evening at the Old Pinawa Dam. We had a ton of fun galavanting around the ruins, falls and rocks. It’s such a beautiful location. These two claimed to be super akward in front of the camera but I didn’t believe them for a second and it turned out I was right…they were lying. They absolutely killed it. Don’t assume you’re not photogenic until you’ve been photographed by a professional. It’s different than your mom’s iPhone photoshoots. Trust me. ANYWAY, check out these cuties rocking their engagement session like models…enjoy!
Two Jack Lake Banff Engagement Session
I love it when my clients are willing to think outside of the box, or in this case, outside of the province! Katie & David were totally game when I put out the word that I wanted to do a couple of shoots in Banff this spring. You all know that I love the adventure of travelling and exploring new places. It definitely fuels my creativity and these two reaped the benefits! We had so much fun galavanting through these beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains for their engagement session. If you’re ever in Banff, Alberta, I highly recommend checking out Two Jack Lake! We did this session in late May and a lot of the other lakes were still 80% frozen but Two Jack was ready to show off it’s dazzling clear blue waters. Enjoy!
