a little about me

1. I shot my first wedding at the age of 19, kick-starting a fun hobby and eventually a business!

2. I'm based in Steinbach, Manitoba, I shoot most of my weddings in Manitoba, but love when I get the chance to travel and shoot elsewhere in Canada or the World! I’ve shot in Banff, Vancouver Island, Belize, Paris, Scotland and Australia to name a few.

3. My dream wedding is a small, intimate, outdoor wedding at a vineyard in Italy.

4. I have four stinkin' cute kids, Emmett, Aria, Liam and Wyatt.

5. I've always been creative. I usually have a couple of projects on the go, whether it's building, crafting, painting, or designing.

6. I live with my husband and kids in a beautiful white farmhouse on our six acre property in the country.

7. They say not to drink your calories buuuttttt...liquid calories are my fave. Coffee. Tea. Lattes. London Fogs. Chai Lattes. Hot in winter, iced in summer. I'm going stop now before I drool on my laptop.

8. I love travelling. I've been to 20 countries and I am constantly (like CONSTANTLY) dreaming of more beautiful places to visit.

9. An ideal Saturday would start with breakfast out at a local restaurant. Then it would probably involve a hike or some other outdoor adventure, and in the evening I'd invite some friends over, hang out on the deck or around a fire, enjoying a beautiful summer evening. (Winter really cramps my style as you can imagine.)

10. I married my husband Joel in June of 2010. He is my best friend, my biggest supporter and the most hard-working, handsome man I know. He still makes me laugh every day and I’m still smitten.
