Dang these two are cute. We lucked out with an incredibly beautiful evening at the Old Pinawa Dam. We had a ton of fun galavanting around the ruins, falls and rocks. It’s such a beautiful location. These two claimed to be super akward in front of the camera but I didn’t believe them for a second and it turned out I was right…they were lying. They absolutely killed it. Don’t assume you’re not photogenic until you’ve been photographed by a professional. It’s different than your mom’s iPhone photoshoots. Trust me. ANYWAY, check out these cuties rocking their engagement session like models…enjoy!
We started off with a plan. We loaded the canoe, and headed to the rock quarry that always had this beautiful, clear, blue water and limestone and forest all around. But you should have seen our faces when we showed up the the whole quarry was completely dried up. But Steve and Leah are just the type of couple that can make the most of any situation, so we told the story, and took photos in the dried up quarry. We had some fun with it and then headed out to find some other body of water to use. In the end, this shoot became a favourite. Adventurous, fun and romantic. Just the way I like em’.
This beautiful hotel wedding was held at the Radisson Hotel in Winnipeg. We did their photos at the Legislative Building before the ceremony. The reception was full to the brim of delicious food and a lot of laughs. (Those speeches were fantastic.) They even had a poutine bar for night snack which I think is basically the best idea ever.
This shoot was a real treat. Kendra made this gorgeous christmas-y flower crown and the falling snow just sealed the deal on this beautiful christmas photo shoot.
This girl blew me away at her grad session. Not only was she absolutely stunning in her navy gown, but she absolutely rocked every pose! Congratulations on graduating Cassidy!
We did Johanna & Anthony’s engagement session in and around the Fort Garry Hotel. We loved the classy, elegant vibes in the hotel, and of course the vine wall outside. Looking forward to their wedding next year!
