Banff Anniversary Session

Nolan & Kendra celebrated their 5 year anniversary in August. Kendra (my sister) has been hinting at a mountain photo shoot for their 5 year anniversary since about the 6 month mark. So once we saw that hotel prices were super low because of Covid (plus we were itching to get out of the province), we planned a little trip. You can see photos from our holiday here. Kendra was determined not to let her disability stop them from getting epic mountain photos and my knowledge of the area led us to a couple of locations that weren’t far from the parking lot. She is one bad-ass crippled chick and climbing over those rocks had to have hurt but don’t tell her what she can’t do! Enjoy!

Steinbach Backyard Boho Fall Wedding

They knew it was risky planning a completely outdoor wedding on September 8 in Manitoba, but they lucked out with the perfect day! From start to finish, Billy & Kyra’s wedding was full of emotion. Laughter, tears, and a lot of love. Every last detail, from Kyra’s two dresses, to their epic (and delicious) dessert table, was created with so much thought and care. These two put a lot of work in during their very short engagement and it showed. It was an honour to be a part of their day. Kyra is my cousin which made this day extra special to be a part of. Fun fact: their ring bearer was Emmett, my son, and he crushed it!! And my husband Joel was their MC! It’s always a treat to work a wedding and get to hang out with my own family at the same time. Bridges Golf Course Wedding

Simon & Jessica’s wedding was so unique and beautiful. They chose bright colours to represent their fun and nerdy selves. Utah Boho Desert Elopement

Guuyyyyyssss how cool is this styled elopement!!?! I love boho weddings and don’t get to do enough of them for my taste. BUT this styled boho elopement in the desert was SO gorgeous. Plus these two were just the cutest. We trekked out through the desert, down the most beautiful path, to get to this location. It’s unlike any place I’ve ever shot before and new places always inspire me. Enjoy!

Intimate Backyard Winnipeg Wedding

When I first met with Mark & Caitlyn and they told me their plans for the wedding, I was immediately looking forward to it. The backyard reception alone sold me. The canopy of lights in the trees was just as beautiful as I had anticipated and the spontaneous ice cream stop during their wedding party photos made for some of the most unique and fun wedding photos I’ve ever taken. I loved every sweltering minute of this wedding and I wish Mark & Caitlyn all the joy in the world. Enjoy!
